A Little About Myself | Elderly |
Pros | Sturdy |
Cons | Uncomfortable |
This lift chair is truly uncomfortable. The hard naugahyde cover becomes painful after short time in use. The lift settings are too limited so your legs are never in the best position in relation to your back. The chair is sturdy and well-built so it is disappointing that it cannot be used except for short times.

A Little About Myself | Daughter |
Pros | We were surprised to see how much the swelling in my mother's ankles had gone down! We bought the chair to help her get up, but hadn't anticipated the benefit of sitting with her feet up much of the day! Her legs have not looked this normal for decades! |
Cons | I made the mistake of ordering the wide version of the petite chair. I was afraid of getting one too small, or having her outgrow it, but it really does look monstrous around my little mother. The regular petite would have been sufficient. |
Service & Delivery | The chair arrived a week after we moved her to assisted living. The truck backed up to the home's loading dock, and put it on a cart. My husband cut away the cardboard carton. It was in great shape, went together simply, and worked right away. |
We are very pleased with the chair. The controls are simple enough to operate, even for my technophobic 92-year-old mother! It goes up and down slowly and smoothly, and doesn't scare her. The best part has been the foot rest, which has really helped with her swollen ankles.
